A lovely 15.75” antique curb Albert chain crafted in 9ct rose gold. The chain has uniform curb links and double dog clips with a floating T bar. This wonderful chain would make an excellent addition to a jewellery collection. It can be worn Albert style with the T bar at the front or with it moved to the back of the neck so a pendant or charms can be hung from the dog clips. The chain can also be doubled up and worn as a bracelet.

The chain measures approximately 15.75 inches/40cm long and weighs 21g. It dates from the early part of the 20th century.

The chain is crafted in 9ct antique rose gold. The links are stamped alternately ‘9’ and then ‘375’ for 9ct gold - many of the stamps are worn due to the age of the chain. The curb link measures approximately 5mm x 4mm x 2mm.

The T bar measures 39mm across and hangs from 4 gold rings. It slides along the chain on one of the gold rings. The T bar is stamped ‘9C’ for 9ct gold.

The dog clips measure approximately 21mm and 22mm from one end to the other. One is stamped ‘9 375’ and the other is stamped ‘9CT’ both for 9ct gold.
