A lovely Edwardian shield locket crafted in 9ct antique yellow gold. The locket has a beautiful chased folate design on both sides. It has an empty cartouche to the front that could be engraved if desired. This pretty locket would be a wonderful addition to a jewellery wardrobe.

The locket measures 33mm x 18mm including bolt ring and weighs 3.4g. It has a full hallmark for 9ct gold, Chester, 1909 on the back. The large jump ring that the locket is hanging from is also stamped ‘9 375’ for 9ct gold.

The inside of the locket has its original rims to hold photos in place. It currently has photographs inside, these could easily be removed.

This is an antique locket and as such shows some signs of wear as one would expect with a piece of its age. Please look at the photographs as they form part of the description.

The other pieces of jewellery in the photographs are not included.
