A wonderful fancy crescent pendant crafted in rich 15ct gold with a diamond set star. The crescent has beautiful open, frilly cannetille work around its inner and outer edges giving it a alcey appearance. In the centre of the crescent there is sparkly, diamond set star.

This is a fabulous Victorian crescent in excellent condition. It was originally a brooch. It has had its pin removed and a 9ct ring added so it can be worn as a pendant

The crescent measures 30mm across and the pendant weighs 6.3g.

The star is set with nine old cut diamonds. It has an estimated total carat weight of 0.3 carats of diamonds. The brooch is hallmarked for 15ct gold, Birmingham, 1899 on the back.

Please look at the photographs as they form part of the description. This is an antique piece and as such shows some signs of wear and tear commensurate with its age. Some of the photographs show the crescent as a brooch before it was made into a pendant.

The chain and other pieces of jewellery are not included.
