A Victorian Silver Sovereign Case
A Victorian Silver Sovereign Case
A lovely Victorian silver sovereign case with an engraved front. This is a real statement piece, designed so that sovereigns could be safely and stylishly transported. This sovereign case looks fabulous worn on a long chain on its own or as part of a neck stack.
This is a beautiful piece with initials engraved on the front and a blank back which is ready for the engraving of your choice. The sovereign case measures 48mm from top to bottom and 33mm across. It weighs 25g. It is hallmarked for silver, London, 1869 inside the lid. The sovereign case closes securely with a satisfying click.
The case has a few minor bumps and scratches as one would expect from a piece of its age. Please look closely at the photographs as they form part of this description.
The chain is not included.
Shipping using the Royal Mail insured, tracked and signed for service with insurance up to £250 is included in the price, if it is available to your location. Shipping by DHL Express with full insurance and more rapid delivery can be selected at checkout for a flat rate of GBP£40.
