A wonderful Victorian picture locket pendant and brooch crafted in 9ct gold with a seed pearl halo. This beautiful piece has its original photograph which could easily be removed and a photograph or a memento of your choice could be inserted. This is a beautifully made locket from the Victorian era.

The locket has a seed pearl set bail so it can be hung from a chain, it also has a pin so it can be worn as a brooch. The locket is not deep enough to be used as a shaker locket.

All the pearls are present and appear to be original to the brooch. The pearls are set in gold. The back of the locket is stamped ‘9C’ for 9ct gold.

The glass front and back are in good condition with some minor scratches as one would expect for a piece of its age. The glass appears to be original to the piece. The panel to the rear is removable.

The locket measures 28mm across and weighs 9.8g.
