A wonderful small Victorian picture locket crafted in 15ct gold. This beautiful piece has pearls set at intervals around its circle. The locket could easily have a photograph or a memento of your choice inserted. This is a beautifully made locket from the Victorian era.

This piece was originally a brooch. It has had its pin removed and has had a 9ct bail and jump ring added so it can be made into a pendant.

The locket is not deep enough to be used as a shaker locket.

All the pearls are present and appear to be original to the brooch. The pearls are set in gold.

The glass front and back are in good condition with some minor scratches as one would expect for a piece of its age. The glass appears to be original to the piece. The front glass panel is slightly domed and has a pleasing, aged feel. The panel to the rear is removable.

The locket measures 27mm across and weighs 7.3g. The locket has been XRF tested as 15ct gold.
