A wonderful antique jewellery box crafted in blue velvet and Liberty of London silk. This box is particularly small - it is the size of a glasses’ case. It closes with a satisfying click to its original push button clasp. It would make an excellent travel box for a few pieces of jewellery.

The inside of the lid of this beautiful box is crafted in the box’s original royal blue silk. The three compartments are lined with Liberty of London vintage floral silk in royal blue and white.

The exterior of the box is covered with brown faux leather with a gold frame around the top of the lid. The lid lays flat when the box is open. The box dates from the early part of the 20th century.

The external measurements of the box at its widest points are approximately 19cm X 7.55cm X 2.5cm tall. Please check that the measurements of this box meet your requirements as it is not very deep. This is an antique box that has been repurposed box as a jewellery box.
