A particularly lovely 61” antique long guard chain crafted in silver with a dog clip. The chain has a substantial large soft belcher link. It can be worn long or wrapped up to three times around the neck. A pendant or charms can be hung from the dog clip. The chain looks lovely worn on its own or as part of a neck stack.

As is common with long guard chains, there is no clasp. The chain is continuous and goes over the head. The chain can also be doubled up and clipped into the dog clip to be worn as a shorter, more substantial chain.

The chain measures approximately inches 61”/155m long and weighs 39.3g. The chain is crafted in silver. It is not hallmarked but has tested as silver. The chain dates from the early part of the 20th century.

The links measure approximately 6mm x 4mm x 2mm.

The dog clip swivels and measures approximately 25mm across. It appears to be original to the chain.

This is an antique chain and as such shows some signs of wear as one would expect with a chain of its age. Please see the photographs, they form part of the description.

The other chains and pendants are not included.
